Subject:

Order on zoning amendments to expand the OceanView Retirement Community Overlay District (RCOD) and to create the Elementary School Redevelopment District (ESRD).

ACTION: Council action is anticipated.

Summary:

Town staff has been working with representatives of OceanView on the proposed concept zoning for the redevelopment of the entire Plummer-Motz and Lunt school complex.

On May 16, 2012 the Planning Board held its public hearing as the Town's Municipal Reviewing Authority. A memo detailing the outcome of that hearing and the Board's recommendation is attached.

The ordinance has been amended from the original language to reflect comments from the Planning Board and the Town Attorney. Both versions are attached.
