Progress report on options and opportunities for a Public-Private Partnership regarding the Plummer-Motz and Lunt School Property between Town of Falmouth, OceanView Retirement Community, and the Falmouth Memorial Library.

ACTION: No Council action is anticipated.
Summary:
Update December 10, 2012 - Two attachments have been added to this item: a letter from the Library Board of Trustees and a proposed timeline from the Library Board of Trustees regarding a decision making process to determine whether a library should be part of the redevelopment plan.


Since January 31, 2012, OceanView and Town staff have been working to satisfy the requirements of the Purchase and Sale Agreement for the Plummer-Motz and Lunt School Property. Section 10 of the agreement contemplates "Public Use Considerations" for the property.

The purpose of this meeting is to present an update and schedule on options and opportunities for the Public-Private Partnership between Town of Falmouth, OceanView Retirement Community, and the Falmouth Memorial Library.
