On December 13, 2010, the Council received an update from staff regarding possible lease interest by Child Development Services (CDS) in the Lunt or Plummer school building. Staff has since worked with Oak Point Associates to explore the renovation needs and costs of the Lunt as well as the Plummer school building for such a purpose.
The original letter of interest by CDS is attached.
A draft Limited Code Review report by Oak Point Associates, dated January 7, 2011 and cost estimates for the Lunt and Plummer buildings are attached. (Posted January 7, 2011, 5:03 PM).
Updated cost estimates have been uploaded on January 10, 2011 at 5:00 PM. These estimates include 12% additional expenses to cover "soft" costs.
The Council is asked for further direction on this lease interest by CDS. |
