Subject:	Update from Chief Tolan regarding an interlocal agreement with Cumberland County, and the cities/towns of Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, and Cape Elizabeth to construct and operate a regional crime lab in the City of Portland.
Summary:	This project has been lead by the City of Portland and the METRO Coalition. Several documents including budgets and the proposed agreement are attached. The coalition is still working on the final draft of the agreement which should be ready for Council action in February.
