The Selectman’s meeting was called to order at 6:17 pm.
Following a review of research submitted by resident Allan Fierce regarding the underground oil tank at Hale School, Fire Chief Joe Landry presented the board with his findings regarding the status of the tank. His opinion is that the tank could be considered abandoned since it has not been used in more than 24 months.
James Salvie moved to support re-consideration of article 34-14. Mr. Kern seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
James Salvie moved that the Board vote to execute the Consent Agreement with Keybank National Association as set forth in the document dated May 6, 2014. Mr. Kern seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
James Salvie moved to approve and sign a Special One-Day Liquor License for the Decibels Foundation for a golf tournament to be held at the Wedgewood Pines Country Club on Monday, June 16, 2014, between 8 am and 8 pm. Mr. Ryan seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The Board discussed the potential donation of a 1989 Sea Nymph GSL 19.5 boat by Conray Wharff for use as a patrol boat by the Lake Boon Commission. The Board felt more information about the boat was needed and deferred action until a future date.
The Board discussed an increase to the municipal assessment for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) membership for a one-time increase from $.32 per capita to $.50 per capita as supported by the Stow Planning Board. Action on this item was deferred to a future date.
James Salvie moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 pm. Mr. Bernklow seconded the motion. Approval was unanimous.
