UPDATE ON CURRENT PROJECTS
triction program. Laura believes there are 2 members that are ready to support the program, 2 that are not, and 1 member that hasn’t decided. Laura distributed a handout “Questions/Concerns from 12/4/06 Stow Housing Partnership Meeting & comments from Greg Jones”. Laura said that two opposing views were expressed by two members of the SHP. One member thought that the Deed Restriction payment is not enough and another member believes that it is too much. Laura said that Bob Billups created a chart that would help determine how much the deed
restriction payment would be. There was some general discussion by the CPC members about other benefits of the program (ability to stay in the home, possible tax breaks, etc). Margie thought that the opposing SHP member(s) might not have an issue with the program itself, but rather doesn’t believe that anyone would want to take advantage of it. Deb distributed information from the Villages at Stow Lottery Information (which showed a desire for smaller homes in Stow).
