The Stonington Board of Selectmen held a special meeting on this day at 12:30 p.m. at the Stonington Town Hall. Present were First Selectman William S. Brown, Selectman Peter L. Balestracci and Selectman Stephen E. Bessette. Also present was a member of the Press.
(1) Call to Order
Mr. Brown called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
(2) Comments from the Public - none
(3) Set the Call for a Special Town meeting.
A motion was made by Mr. Balestracci, seconded by Mr. Bessette to
to adopt the following resolution:
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 3-3 of the Charter, the Board of Selectmen calls a Special Town meeting for the
5th of March, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Stonington High School, Pawcatuck, to consider and act upon a resolution as outlined in the Notice of Special Town Meeting, which is attached to these Minutes as Appendix “A”, which notice is hereby approved.
(4) Adjourn
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned at 12:07 p.m.
