Public Hearing continuation– Lussier application for a Site Plan Review for a Self-Storage Facility at 232 Barre Paxton Road
Opened: 7:44pm
Jean Trudeau, an abutter, had concerns about lighting and the security of the facility if it will be open around the clock. Norm said he would require a fence with a locked gate for the facility. Norm suggested that Mr. Trudeau come back for the continuation of the hearing. Norm said he knows there are going to be trees for screening. Marilyn asked Jean if the lighting there currently is acceptable. He said yes because they have motion sensors and are not on all the time.
On 1/23/18 the board received an email from David Lussier requesting a continuance of this hearing. They are waiting to hear from Mass DOT are not ready to submit revised plans at this time. They discussed the date to continue. The applicant would like to meet on 2/13/18. Tim will be away and requested the board just ensure that a security fence is installed. Trudeau’s only other concern is what the finished product is going to look like. He wants to make sure the area is loamed and seeded after construction is finished and not left as piles of dirt.
Shawn made a motion to continue the hearing on February 13th at 7pm. Marilyn 2nd, all in favor. Recessed: 7:53pm
Respectfully submitted,
Laurie Becker, Secretary
