Public Hearing continuation– Lussier application for a Special Permit for Mixed Use Property in the Town Center District at 211 Main Street

Opened: 7:34pm

There were changes made to the plan. The condo near Main Street was turned and moved closer to the road. The garages are now in the back of the building. There will be a mix of gravel and pavement. The drainage will be more than adequate. Each residential unit will have parking spaces in addition to the garage space. There are 25 parking spaces in addition to the 14 spaces for the residents.

Abutter, Shanahan, expressed her continued concerns about drainage on the Southeast corner.  Overall, she is happy with the plans.  She just wants to ensure that her property and Puliafico’s property is not going to get flooded. Dubuis explained the drainage on the property. There will be less water flowing to the Southeast corner than is currently flowing in that direction.  Dubuis suggested doing a gravel trough.  Norm reminded the applicant that Quinn Engineering will be reviewing the storm water management plans. He believes that Lussier has done more than is required to care for the storm water.

The plans need to go to Quinn for review.  Lussier will get a copy to Quinn. Shawn motioned to continue the meeting on 12/12/17 at 7pm.  Dick 2nd, all in favor.

Recessed: 7:52pm
        Respectfully submitted,

                                                                                Laurie Becker, Secretary
