Meeting opened at 6:35pm
- Review minutes of 4.12.16
-Regular meeting minutes: Dick moved to approve with corrections, Addison 2nd, all in favor.
-Public hearing minutes 230 Pleasantdale Road/Marc Curtis: Dick moved to approve, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
- Sherry Lamorticelli/Pre-application conference for dog day care out of her home at 539 East County Road: Sherry stated that the day care would be in the barn which is connected to her house. Village Center District Bylaw was referenced. Sherry would like an all inclusive business to enable her to eventually do boarding for 20-35 dogs. Sometime in the future she would like to grow her business to include a kennel.
State statutes were referenced. Discussion ensued to include possible restrictions on operations (amount of parking spaces, etc.) The Board would like to refer this to Attorney Paul Cranston for opinion. A public hearing might be required for site plan review. Applicant would have to re-apply if changing to boarding. This could potentially pose a problem. Applicant would have to go to ZBA.
Chairman will formulate questions to send to Attorney Cranston. He will contact Mrs. Lamorticelli once Attorney Cranston’s response is received.
Meeting recessed at 7:29pm for public hearing on zoning amendment.
Meeting reconvened at 7:34pm.
- Liimatainen Property (solar): Chairman received a call from Mr. Ryan Irwin from Community Solar. He would like to start construction in June. He communicated that fencing is required. Town in PA stock fencing was mentioned. He questioned whether it would be reasonable to put this type of fencing in. The bylaw states it just has to be fenced.
- Extensions on Brintnal Estates, Noble Hill and Milliken Brook Subdivisions:
Marilyn moved to extend the special permits on Milliken Brook, Noble Hill and Brintnal Estates subdivisions to 4/12/18, Addison 2nd, all in favor. Letters will be mailed to Clealand Blair, Jr.
- Site Plan approval notice of decision for common driveway and special permit notice of decision for 2 estate lots/230 Pleasantdale Road/Marc Curtis:
Both documents were signed and will be brought to Anita Carlson, Town Clerk, tomorrow.
- Summary of Conflict of Interest Law for municipal employees:
Board members signed acknowledgement of receipt. Susan will hold for Tim Nahrwold to sign after which she will bring to Anita Carlson.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
