Open meeting: 6:30pm
- Review minutes of 2/11/14
- Regular meeting minutes: Addison moved to approve with corrections, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
- Demond Pond R.O.W. hearing minutes:
Addison moved to approved with corrections, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
- Miliken Brook Public Hearing
Addison moved to approve with corrections, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
- Crane Condominiums/Jim Soucy:
Mr. Soucy proposed making a minor change to his project. He would like to add a garage.
Addison moved to accept the proposed minor change, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
Meeting recessed at 7:00pm for public hearing continuation on Miliken Brook.
Meeting reconvened at 7:30.
- Request for space on Intervale Road 10 acre lot with easement (Owner, Jeanne Bigelow):
Mr. Stidsen with his sons, Seth and Zack, are here to inquire on what would need to be done to require occupation of space on Intervale Road to park his oil trucks and parts. He stated that owner is willing to subdivide the 10 acre parcel of land which is classed as R60. Presently there are no structures on the land. He would like to build a garage. No business would be conducted on property.
Discussion ensued to include MHO, etc.
The Board can assist Mr. Stidsen through the process but would not be ready to endorse a zoning change which would require abutter approval and town meeting vote.
Mr. Stidsen was advised to check with the neighbors. Perhaps Ms. Bigelow could get the 10 acres zoned business.
Jeff Lacy also informed Mr. Stidsen that he would need to check to see where the parcel is in relation to buffer zones. Ware River was referenced. Jeff will look into this for Mr. Stidsen and will get back to him.
Board spoke with Jeff Lacy regarding Miliken Brook
- Concern that Ridge Road is narrow
- Would like to see DPW tree and stump removal fund
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:15pm
