Open meeting: 6:40pm
- 9/13/11: Dick moved to approve the minutes with corrections, Addison 2nd, all in favor.
9/14/11 Public Hearing Solar Bylaw
Tim moved to approve, Dick 2nd, all in favor.
- Invoices: Next meeting
- Chairman stated that Mr. William Scanlan has written up some site plan review regulations for the Solar Bylaw. He does not believe it is necessary to hold a public hearing for site plan regulations. He will invite Mr. Scanlan to the next meeting.
Tim requested that the document be sent to his email so he can review on his trip.
- Memo from Building Inspector, Rick Travers was referenced.
- New Business:
Chairman stated that he received a call from a resident who lives on Lizzy Lane who is refinancing his home and was informed by his insurance company that he is in a flood zone and will have to pay $3,800 a year for flood insurance.
Susan will call Meegan at CMRPC to see if new flood map is available for Rutland.
Meeting recessed for public hearing on McAllister Estates at 7:00pm.
Meeting reconvened at 7:01pm.
- Public Hearing on McAllister Estates was continued to 11/22/11 at 7:00pm with extension to 12/13/11. Norman will bring extension document to Mr. Blair to sign.
- Animal Bylaw: Is on upcoming town meeting warrant.
- Solar Bylaw:
A brief discussion ensued.
Joe Becker stated that he plans to reach out to the Town of Douglas, MA to inquire about the similar pilot project they have going on now. He will have Jackie O’Brien give Meegan a call at CMRPC.
Chairman will be meeting with the town accountant this Thursday to discuss the account which according to Dan is $6,000.00 in arrears. Norman does not believe this is correct. Files will be compared and reviewed to clarify.
