Rutland Planning Board Minutes 3-9-10
Present: Lester Grace, Tim Nahwold, Stephanie Bacon, Norman Anderson
Excused: Richard Williams, Susan Ducharme
Meeting opened: 6:43 pm
-Tim made motion to accept the 2-23-10 minutes with corrections, Lester 2nd, vote 4-0.
-Motion made by Stephanie to submit proposed Town Center District to Board of Selectman for warrant article for annual town meeting, Tim 2nd, vote 4-0.
-At 7:20pm Carl Hultgren from Quinn Engineering came in with the revised definitions along with illustrations for dead end streets. Board requested adding wording "to the furthest point possible from that intersection" and add 1000 feet dimension along the illustrations. The Board also made changes to slope area. The changes to be made would be to omit the 10 percent slope restriction and to only restrict slopes of 20 percent to the roadway including the entire right of way. Please refer to the attached revisions presented by Carl Hultgren.
-Public hearing continued to March 23rd at 7:00 pm to review the subdivision regulations.
-Board reviewed comments by Spaulding Associates for the bridge plan at Bear Hill. Board also reviewed Steve Parker's notes regarding issues brought up by Spaulding. Norm recommended forwarding this review to the DPW and to Clea Blair along with a letter of our concerns, rest of Board agreed.
-Motion to adjourn by Lester, seconded by Stephanie, all in favor 9:45 pm.
