- Opening of meeting by the Chair: Scott Gilroy opened the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
- Review & Acceptance of Minutes: Scott Gilroy motioned to accept the minutes of October 27, 2014. Elliott Nadeau seconded. Vote was unanimous.
The Board of Health will be referred to as the “Board”.
New Business:
Wheelabrator Amended Contract – The Board discussed the emails received regarding this. The Board has not received the Wheelabrator Amended Contract yet. When the Board receives it, they will put it on the Agenda to discuss. Per Jackie O’Brien, the Board was instructed to forward to Paul Cranston, Town Counsel for review. She also said that the Board should make a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen if they wish to recommend the Board of Selectmen approve the amended contract.
Old Business:
Flu Clinic: The Board discussed the results of the Flu Clinic that was held on November 1, 2014. Almost 300 people were vaccinated. The Board was very happy with the results. The Board will continue to offer flu vaccines on an individual basis for people that still need it.
2 Meadowbrook Circle – The Board discussed situation. The Board has not heard that Mr. Haberski is still living there. To the best of the Board’s knowledge, he does not live there anymore.
377 E. County Road – The Board discussed the situation at this property. Karin Prucnal submitted notes on phone calls made to National Grid that she made regarding the poles on the property. Notes are in file. The Board asked Randy Mizereck to send a certified follow up letter to Mr. Ronald Stevenson. The letter would request a written letter response within 21 days from him on the status of the repair of an electric generator.
Health Agent’s Report:
Correspondence: The Board reviewed correspondence as received:
National Grid letter: herbicide application notification, dated 11/24/14. The Board reviewed and does not have any concerns at this time.
DCR letter: Brice-Lemon Estates Subdivision, dated 11/24/14. The Board reviewed and does not have any concerns at this time. Karin Prucnal abstained from any discussion regarding this matter.
