Discussions
Rail Trail
One of the culvert pipes collapsed between Glenwood and Watson Lane. Because this is strictly repair work and not working in the wetlands so they filed a Request for Determination. Joe sees no problem with this, and the board agreed. A Negative Determination will be issued at the next meeting.
Dick Williams, Conservation Restrictions
Dick believes there are 11 in town. Dick was questioning whether the Board has been checking on them, and to make sure they weren’t getting encroached on. Dick said he thinks that we should send a letter requesting the town take the one on Irish Lane, but that it is up to Becky to do it and that is who we should send a letter to requesting that. Peter doesn’t remember any type of obligation in the Restrictions, but Dick believes there are, especially the Gengel ones.
Heifer Project
Received a forest cutting plan for the Heifer project. Dick said that Heifer is closing and the forest cutting plan is not being done, so we can disregard it.
