SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 MINUTES
Opened: 7:23 P.M.
Present: Paul Mattson, chairman; Raymond Becker; Jim Kelley; Addison Redfield

Treasurer’s Report: No report available (Paul is waiting for 7/1/2016 official balance)
Old Business:
- Drapes—agreed to purchase drapes (#3 of 3 proposals of material and pricing)--@$419.00 total for drapes.
- Equipment upgrades—Paul will check on cards required for copying programs.
- Paul reported that our Nexus system may have to be replaced—approximate cost $12,000.
- Ray asked if the Town seal is being worked on to be affixed to front of Selectmen desk.
New business:
- Addison moved that we buy lighting equipment for the studio—will be integrated. Ray 2nd—unanimous.
- Ray questioned whether we are going to attempt to use the old Canon cameras in the studio. Paul answered that perhaps we should use them—may need to look at one (1) added camera to supplement in the studio. Paul will speak to Unique about cameras—there was much discussion regarding the cameras.
- There was much discussion regarding studio equipment, which may cost upwards of $13,000. Paul to get more information.
- Addison moved to add Jim Kelley to our committee and notify BOS to appoint. Ray 2nd—unanimous (Jim abstained).
- Paul suggest that he would look into a P.A. system for Town use (Margaret’s request).
Next meeting: Vote on sign for door of studio/entrance.

Ray stated that we continue to have a problem with sound at Glenwood School. We should worry more about our camera (recording) sound not the P.A sound for the audience—not our problem.
