Rutland Cable Advisory Committee

Selectmen Skip Clark was also present.
Paul called the meeting to order at 6:39 p.m.
Minutes
Copies of the minutes were not available. All agreed to table until next meeting.
Bills & Accounts
Paul will check into having bills related to the Charter-Comcast public hearing advertisement and legal bills incurred for the 2014 cable license renewal paid from the Board of Selectmen’s account.
Addison will provide copies of HVAC bids and proposals to Paul.
Old Business
Report on Contract Progress
Addison reported:
- The original list of material provided by Koopman was inaccurate resulting incorrect quotes. A new list has been provided with the amount just over $1,000. He is looking to group purchases into ceiling/walls, finish work, electrical, control room/studio, carpet, desk, seating, and sprinklers. Ray suggested discussing with the Procurement Officer to find out if individual categories can be used. Addison will look into further.
- There is a 6 week lead time on lighting. The electrical for light drops needs to be installed.
- Addison proposed installing only the board on the wall between the storage room and studio. There is no need to insulate at this time.
Keys to Library
- Bay Path needs access to the library during off hours. Paul will ask the DPW Director the best way to gain access.
New Business
Ray met with the electrician. He will go to the Campbell Street Studio with Dave.
The ongoing issue with meetings in Nexus has been repaired. The committee thanked Ray for his work and for ensuring meetings are up for viewing.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m. All were in favor.
