Present: Michael S. Pantos, Chairman, Joseph R. Becker, Vice Chairman, Wayne A. Walker,
Leroy C. Clark. Also Present: Diane M. Cook, Administrative Secretary
Call to order at 6:00 pm by Mr. Pantos.
OPEN SESSION:
NEW BUSINESS:
DISPATCH: Nick DaDalt, Regional Dispatch Director
• Mr. Becker made a motion to change Tyler Russell from a full-time
dispatch pos1t10n to
per diem with an effective date of January 26, 2015 at $17.20 per hour with the typical I
year probationary period waived. Mr. Clark 2nd the motion. Motion unanimously
approved.
• Mr. Becker made a motion to appoint Dominic Walker to a full time position from parttime
with an effective date of February 2, 105 and a pay-rate of $18.09 per hour subject
to a I-year probationary period. Mr. Walker 2nd. Motion unanimously approved.
• Mr. Clark made a motion to appoint Michael Moriarty as Dispatch
Supervisor with an
effective date of February 2015 and a pay-rate of$19.20 per hour, subject to a one-year
probationary period. Mr. Walker 2nd_ Motion unanimously approved.
COUNCIL ON AGING:
• Mr. Clark made a motion to appoint Nancy Nichols as Interim Director until a decision
on a permanent director is made. Mr. Walker 2°d. Motion unanimously
approved.
STATE OF EMERGENCY AND PREPAREDNESS:
• A discussion was held regarding the state of emergency and declaration of local state of
emergency. Chief Weber recommended that we declare a local state of emergency from
6:00pm Monday, January 26th through 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 28th to coincide
with the declaration made by the state. Chief Weber to notify the department heads.
Mr. Becker made a motion to declare a local state of emergency from 6:00pm Monday,
January 26th through 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 281h. Mr. Clark 2"d. Motion
unanimously approved.
• There was a discussion regarding the storm preparation.
• Naquag is ready if needed for shelter. Central Tree is second. ACO Ms. Pease is staying
at the shelter to care for the dogs.
• CERT Team was disbanded, but people are ready if needed.

OLD BUSINESS:
• The joint meeting with Barre was cancelled for this evening and the new proposed date is
February 3rd@ 5:00 or 5:30pm. Mr. Pantos will follow-up and confirm.
ADJOURN: Mr. Becker made a motion to adjourn at 6:45pm. Mr.
Clark 2nd_ Motion
unanimously approved.
