Board of Selectmen Minutes
May 19, 2011
Community Hall Annex
5:45 pm
Present: Joseph R. Becker, Chairman, Michael S. Pantos, Vice-Chairman, Leroy C. Clark, Sheila H. Dibb and Peter Letsky, Clerk.
Mr. Becker called the meeting to order at 5:50 p.m.
The Selectmen interviewed the following individuals for position of Building Inspector: Nelson Burlingame, Jay Gallant and Rick Travers. The Selectmen also interviewed the following individuals for the position of Plumbing/Gas Inspector: Byron Carpenter, James Smith, Richard Dmochowski and Jim Bottis.
At the conclusion of the interviews, the Board had discussion and decided to narrow the Building Inspector field to two candidates. Mr. Pantos made a motion to remove Mr. Gallant from the list of finalists. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Becker removed himself from the entire interview process for the plumbing/gas inspector due to personal reasons. After some discussion on the Plumbing/Gas Inspector position, the Board decided to narrow the field to three candidates. Mr. Pantos motioned to remove Mr. Dmochowski from the list of finalists. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous. Letters of regret will be sent to the two individuals removed from the lists.
A meeting will be scheduled for Thursday, May 26th for the Board’s final decisions on both inspector positions.

Mr. Clark moved to adjourn. Ms. Dibb seconded. Vote unanimous. Meeting adjourned at 9:05 pm.
