Emergency Meeting at Fire Station
August 28, 2011

Present: Joseph R. Becker – Chairman, Michael S. Pantos Vice-Chairman, Peter Letsky – Clerk, Leroy C. Clark and Sheila H. Dibb
Also present: Thomas P. Ruchala – Fire Chief, Nathan Kenney – Dispatch Operator, Donald Haapakoski – Police Chief and Gary Kellaher – DPW Superintendent
Chief Ruchala stated that one fire call and one ambulance call came in. Superintendent Kellaher stated that several street calls have come in and his employees are in early. Mr. Kellaher is disappointed with National Grid. Thirty calls with no or slow response. River Road has no power. Reimbursement must use 214 forms.
Local state of emergency on August 28, 2011 at 10:40 am; August 29, 2011 at 6 am end time for state of emergency.
Discussion about the students coming to Rutland school from Princeton.
Mr. Kellaher requested to have early conferences concerning states of emergency (pre-planning sessions in the future).
