Meeting Minutes
October 25, 2010
Prior to Special Town Meeting
Glenwood Elementary School
Present: Sheila H. Dibb, Chairman – Joseph R. Becker – Vice Chairman, Leroy C. Clark, Cherilyn A. Bulger and Michael S. Pantos – Clerk.
Meeting opened at 5:45.
Discussion of the Regulatory Agreement for Lussier’s Chapter 40B project. Mr. Pantos and Mr. Becker have concerns with the language as well as the monitoring of the project. Mr. Pantos moved to hold until the next meeting on November 1, 2010. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous.
Discussion on the cost breakdown for the work at the Rutland Little League field. Mr. Becker moved to accept the DPW Superintendent’s recommendation to keep the fees in place (see attached). Ms. Bulger seconded. Vote unanimous.
Old Business:
Certified free cash $193,297. Town Accountant Dan Haynes suggested leaving $50,000 in free cash. Will be taking $110,000 from free cash to balance. Current balance is $566,331. Will be taking $215,000 from the stabilization fund.
DPW Superintendent Gary Kellaher submitted a “hold harmless” insurance form for the Eagle Scout who will be completing his project with the help from the DPW.
Mr. Clark moved to sign the special legislation pertaining to article 1 of the special town meeting warrant. Mr. Pantos seconded. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Pantos moved to adjourn. Mr. Becker seconded. Vote unanimous. Meeting adjourned at 6:18 pm.
