Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
May 16, 2009
Naquag Elementary School


Present:   Leroy C. Clark - Chairman, Cherilyn A. Bulger – Vice Chairman, Douglas C. Briggs, Sheila H. Dibb, Joseph R. Becker – Clerk.

Mr. Clark opened the meeting at 5:07 pm.

Mr. Briggs noted that he has received a few phone calls regarding wood burning furnaces and that the Board may be receiving a petition from residents interested in regulating these outdoor furnaces.

Mrs. Dibb noted that the Library is approximately $4,000.00 behind on their heating and electric bill payments. She informed the Board the Library anticipated they would need a total of $6,000.00 through the end of the fiscal year. Some discussion on funding options and over-spending budgetary line items.

Adjourn
Mrs. Dibb moved to adjourn at 5:25 pm.  Mrs. Bulger seconded.  Motion received unanimous support.
