Minutes
-Present: Peter Craine, Ronald Kent, Karen Greenwood, Norman Anderson, Lindsey Demers
-The meeting was called to order by Chairman Craine at 1:03 p.m.
-Norman made a motion to accept the minutes from May 21, 2019 Ron seconded and all voted in favor, with changes.
-We will need to revisit the By-laws for Select Board, Town Counsel, Non-criminal disposition and General Provisions
-Peter received and email from the Town Administrator questioning some of the wording with the By-law By-law. Peter will respond back with the corrections.
-We worked on the Legal Affairs By-law of which Peter had reformatted to match the other By-laws.
There was not conclusion as to what the new fee should be for settlements. The amount of
$300.00 was from a while ago.
The section about the Select Boards annual report has been removed from here and placed
within their By-Law.
Discussion followed about the section Town Counsel. We added the Counsel/Firm should be a member in good standing. We will be revisiting as to whether or not their term should be 1 or 3 years. Peter will talk with the Select Board and get their opinion.
Peter has made more changes on his computer that are not within these minutes.
-Capital Improvement Planning Committee (CIPC)
Added purpose, authority and members
Peter will look up the other terms for some of the other committees so we’re consistent.
We did not complete this By-law…..
The next meeting will be June 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Library
Karen made a motion to adjourn, Norman seconded and all in favor to adjourn at 2:55 p.m.
