Minutes
-Present: Peter Craine, Ronald Kent, Lynn Turcotte, Karen Greenwood, Norman Anderson,
Anita Carlson, Lindsey Demers
-The meeting was called to order by Chairman Craine at 1:06 p.m.
-Norman made a motion to accept the minutes from April 23, 2019 Lyn seconded and all voted in favor, with changes.
-Peter has sent agendas for the next couple of weeks
-The By-law By-laws passed at the Town meeting May 11, 2019. We will remain as Ad-Hoc members until the By-law is approved by the Attorney General’s office which could be about 3 months. The members would then reapply for this committee to then be appointed by the Select Board.
-Revisited Select Board
Added A-5 members
Added B-terms
-Collector/Treasurer Accounting By-law
Split the two into two different By-laws
#3 Each will be subject to audits
#4 Duties all set except added “applicable”
For the Collector/Treasurer all deposits must be deposited in a timely basis. This will mean at least once a week.
#5 Disposition of Departmental receipts-all set
#6 Tax Title-all set
-Accounting
Added Purpose and authority and audit-all the same as Treasurer/Collector (1,2, and 3)
#4 Submission of Bills-deadline June 20th to close out Fiscal year
Anything referencing the Treasurer/Collector was moved to the appropriate By-Law
The next meeting will be May 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Library
Norman made a motion to adjourn, Ron seconded and all in favor to adjourn at 2:55 p.m.
