ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
April 30, 2015

The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m.

Roll Call:      Larry Ordway, Chair

Approval of Minutes

L. Ordway moved second by P. Bealo to approve the minutes of the March 26, 2015 meeting.  There was no discussion on the motion.  The vote was 3-0-0 U/A.

L. Ordway noted that there were only three (3) members sitting on the Board for this meeting.  He explained that any vote taken by the Board would only pass with three (3) votes to the affirmative.  This meant that for any vote to grant to prevail it would have to be by an unanimous vote.  He added that an applicant had the right to request a continuance until there is a full sitting board.

It was also noted that should an applicant choose to go forward with their case before this Board that the lack of a full panel could not be used as grounds to request a re-hearing.

#15-05: A request from ProQuip, Roger LaJoie, President for a variance from Article V, Table 220-32A to permit a Retail Use in the Industrial District. The property is located at 22 Old Rd, Tax Map 29, Lot 40 in the I1 District.  Torromeo Industries, Inc is the property owner of record.

Charles Zilch, SEC & Associates and Chris Barisano, ProQuip, were present for the application.

C. Zilch requested, in light of the three-member Board, that their case be continued.

It was noted that Case number #15-05 would be continued to the May 28, 2015.  It was also noted that this meeting was the official notification of the continuance and that no additional notification would be sent.

P. Bealo noted that need for additional citizens to get involved as members of this Board and directed interested residents to contact the office.

There was no other business before the Board.

The meeting was closed at 7:42 p.m.
