Minutes
Call to Order by Chair Diane DePaolo Aldi at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Chair Diane DePaolo Aldi, Mary Kennedy, Sharon Craft, Betsy Owen, Don Mill, Joseph Termini, Priscilla Funck and Mary Ann Iadarola
Also present: Sharon Tiezzi, Recording Clerk
Audience of Citizens – Mary Lenzini, VNASC was present and reported on the OSPHN Report FY 2018 given to Board members. She has met with Joanne Sullivan, Director at the O.S. Yale facility. They are planning on doing evening sessions on Home health care and Community Health at the facility. March 13, 2018 they are planning a “Lunch and Learn” session for the staff in the building to give them the info about what health programs are available for Old Saybrook and area residents. She also is putting together a brochure.
Review and Approval of Minutes – January 11, 2018
A motion was made by Priscilla Funck and seconded by Betsy Owen to approve the minutes of the January 11, 2018 meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
Review and Approval of Treasurer’s Report –
A motion was made by Betsy Owen and seconded by Sharon Craft to approve and accept the February 2018 Treasurer’s report presented by Jay Termini, Treasurer.
Motion carried unanimously.
Correspondence -
Old Business – Cathy Cobb presented her bill two sessions for a total of $1,217.00. A motion was made by Mary Kennedy and seconded by Betsy Owen to approve the bill for two sessions of the Grub Club.
Motion carried unanimously.
New Business – Old Saybrook Police Services Diaper Drive
Flanagan Fund – no report
Nightingale Fund – Betsy Owen presented the Board a revised draft letter for this year’s fund drive. The Board reviewed it and made corrections and additions.
Morris Fund – no report
Adjournment – a motion was made by Mary Kennedy and seconded by Mary Ann Iadarola to adjourn the meeting at 7:58 p.m.
Motion carried unanimously.
Chair Diane DePaola Aldi adjourned the meeting.
