Minutes
Call to Order Chair Diane Aldi called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Chair Diane Aldi, Betsy Owen Priscilla Funck and Don Mill
Absent: Sharon Craft, Mary Kennedy, Joseph Termini, Mary Ann Iadarola
Also resent: Sharon Tiezzi, Recording Clerk
Audience of Citizens - none
Review and Approval of Minutes – December 14, 2017 A motion was made by Priscilla Funck and seconded by Betsy Owen to approve the minutes of the December 14, 2017 meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
Review and Approval of Treasurer’s Report – tabled till February meeting
Correspondence – Chair Diane received an email from Mary Lenzini regarding the SEVNA. She indicated that she was meeting with Human Resources Administrator at Yale to discuss doing more community outreach. They are doing talks now in various areas around the shoreline on health care issues. Mary Lenzini will come to a future meeting to discuss more.
Old Business – Chair Diane sent budget approved at the last meeting to First Selectman Carl Fortuna and Lisa Paladino, Financial Assistant.
New Business – next meeting February 8, 2018
A motion was made by Betsy Owen and seconded by Priscilla Funck to approve the recording clerks invoice for Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec 2017 in the amount of $300.64.
Motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Priscilla Funck and seconded by Betsy Owen to increase the recording clerk’s hourly rate from $18.79 to $20.00.
Motion carried unanimously.
Flanagan Fund – nothing to report
Nightingale Fund – Chair Diane asked all to still keep working on ideas to include in the letter.

Morris Fund – nothing to report
Adjournment – a motion was made by Don Mill and seconded by Priscilla Funck to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m.
Motion carried unanimously. Chair Diane Aldi adjourned the meeting.
