Also Present: Sharon Tiezzi, Clerk and Mary Lenzini, VNASC
CALL TO ORDER - Chairman Diane Aldi DePaola called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
AUDIENCE OF CITIZENS - Mary Lenzini of the VNASC reported on VNASC nursing activities for the month of February 2015. She also reported that the Pre-school dental clinic was held in February 2015 and there were 5 children. She also mentioned that Tina continues to get referrals for a variety of sources for health supervision and safety evaluations.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - A motion to approve the minutes of the January 8, 2015 meeting was made by Don Mill and seconded by Sharon Craft. .
Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstentions 1, Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT - Jay Termine gave the Treasurer’s Report.
A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented was made by Betsy Owen and seconded by Sharon Craft. .
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0, Motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE - A “Thank You” poster from Y&FS for the grant the nursing board provided was received.

NIGHTINGALE FUND
D. DePaola reported that the Nightingale Annual Appeal is ready for mailing; as soon as board members write notes on the letters of people they know, it will be mailed. Members will pick up letters at Diane’s house next week.
D. DePaola presented an invoice from Pages for $135.00 for printing the appeal envelopes/ folding letters and stuffing envelopes.
A motion to pay Pages Bill of $135.00 was made by Don Mill and seconded by Jay Termine.
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0, Motion carried.
D. DePaola presented invoices from Staples for $108.41 for envelopes, and copying the appeal letter (675 copies).
A motion was made to reimburse Diane DePaola the $108.41 by Jay Termine and seconded by Janet Temple.
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0, Motion carried.
Janet Temple reported that the Nightingale Scholarship information is out to the schools, and the press release has been running in the papers. Next year the idea of a flyer on the high school’s bulletin board was discussed.
ADJOURNMENT - A motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. was made by Janet Temple and seconded by Sharon Craft. .
