Meeting Minutes
Present: Sharon Craft, Betsy Owen, Priscilla Funck, Don Mill, Joseph Termine and Mary Ann Iadarola
Absent: Diane Aldi DePaola and Mary Kennedy
CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chair Sharon Craft called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
AUDIENCE OF CITIZENS: None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - A motion was made by Priscilla Funck and seconded by Mary Ann Iadarola to approve the minutes of the October 13, 2016 meeting.
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT – Treasurer’s report was presented by Jay Termine and reviewed by the Board. A motion was made by Don Mill and seconded by Mary Ann Iadarola to approve the treasurer’s report as presented.
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE – Sharon Craft reported that 2 checks for the Nightingale Fund in the amounts of $50.00 and $100.00 had been received.
OLD BUSINESS – Discussion of the invoice for he Grub Club Program submitted by Cathy Cobb was reviewed and discussed. A motion was made by Mary Ann Iadarola ad seconded by Priscilla Funck to approve the request for funds.
Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstentions 1. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS - Discussion of the VNASC contractual budget for years 2017 and 2018. A motion was made by Betsy Owen and seconded by Jay Termine to approve the budget as presented,
Ayes 6, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; motion carried.
FLANAGAN FUND – Jay Termine reported that a check in the amount of $5,000.00 had been paid to scholarship recipient Terry Savino.
NIGHTINGALE FUND – No report
MORRIS FUND – no report
ADJOURNMENT- A motion was made by Jay Termine and seconded by Don Mill to adjourn the meeting @ 7:35 p.m..
