Meeting Minutes
Present: Diane Aldi DePaola, Betsy Owen, Don Mills, Joseph Termine
Absent: Sharon Craft, Mary Kennedy and Linda Demas
Also present: Sharon Tiezzi, Recording Clerk and new member Priscilla Funck
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Diane called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
AUDIENCE OF CITIZENS – The Nursing activities offered by the VNASC for the month of November was presented by Tina Belmont.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - A motion to approve the minutes of the November 12, 2015 meeting was made by Betsy Owen and seconded by Jay Termine.
Ayes 3, Nays 0, Abstentions 2; Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT – A motion to approve the treasurer’s report as presented by Joseph Termine by Don Mills and seconded by Betsy Owen.
Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE – received two checks for the Nightingale Fund
- Received re-appointment letters for Diane, Don and Mary and new appointment of Priscilla Funck.
- Thank you note from Keanna Chang for her scholarship.
- Thank you note from Sue Consoli and Elaine Seaforth from Youth & Family for the money the board gave to Youth & Family.
- A request from Lisa Carver, Finance Director and First Selectman Carl Fortuna for the Boards budget. Due January 10, 2016. A motion was made by Jay Termine and seconded by Don Mill to approve the Boards budget of $42,653.00.
Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS – Chair Diane presented Sharon Tiezzi’s Time & Task invoice in the amount of $268.80 for payment. Don Mill made a motion to pay this invoice; seconded by Priscilla Funck.
Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstentions 0; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS - none
FLANAGAN FUND – no report
NIGHTINGALE FUND – received two checks in the amount of $70
MORRIS FUND – no report
ADJOURNMENT- A motion was made by Betsy Owen to adjourn the meeting @ 7:45 p.m., seconded by Jay Termine.
