School Ad Hoc Committee Minutes Final
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Walt Mathwich at 7:13 pm
2. ROLL CALL: Members Present: Bob Carlson, Sam Cherenzia, Arthur Dobley, Leslie Driscoll, Julie Lanier (Recording Secretary), Brett Mastroianni and Walt Mathwich (Chairman). Missing: Jeff Frenette (Correspondance Secretary), and Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman).
3. Public Comments and Questions: No comments for regular meeting.
4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. MINUTES: Minutes from January 9 and February 13th were approved.

7. OLD BUSINESS: See workshop below

9. DISCUSSIONS: Went directly into workshop
Workshop:
Workshop was held so that Rusty (architect) with Quisenberry Architects could go over 4 feasibility plans for the elementary school and 3 for the combined middle/high school. Costs were provided. The costs are not included in the minutes but will be sent electronically to the selectman. Costs took into account (but not inclusive) remembursements from the state, square footage of any additions, remodeling costs, project management costs, enrollment projections, option of moving 6th grade back to elementary school and saftey net costs (15%). Public was free to ask questions. Next steps: Rusty to provide plan and costs for updating gymatorium. Plans to be presented to Board of Ed and School Administration to see which plan works
best with Educational Specs.
