1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Secretary Vilma Gregoropoulos called the Special Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 6:34 p.m. at the New Town Hall, Conference Room.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Vilma Gregoropoulos, Secretary, Louis E. Steinbrecher (left at 9:25 p.m.), Joseph Siner and Alternate Members Duncan Schweitzer and Ann Brown
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: G. Russell Stewart, III, Chairman, Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chairman and Alternate Member Susan Grufstedt
STAFF PRESENT: P&Z Attorney Michael Carey, Contracted SCCOG Planner, Jamie Rabbitt, Sr. Planner/ZEO Juliet Leeming and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch
2. AGENDA
Review Section 600 Highway Commercial (HC) and possibly Industrial (I) and Commercial Development (CD) Zones
Mr. William Ricker asked for a point of order and asked if the Commission would allow questions or comments from the public. Mr. Rabbitt stated since it was a Special Meeting only items posted on the agenda could be discussed.
Mr. Rabbitt went over the uses in the Highway Commercial Zone with the Commission.
3. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION by L. Steinbrecher, SECOND by J. Siner to adjourn the special meeting at 7:15 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
