The North Beach Public Works Department recommends that all residents take some preventative measures to protect water lines from freezing in your home.
Check crawl space vents and make sure they are closed.
Block off any holes or gaps to keep cold air from entering if possible.
Turn off and drain outside hose bibs.
Check sump pumps and make sure discharge line is clear.
