SITE WALK MINUTES
The Board of Selectmen will hold a site walk at the Newton Transfer Station on Saturday, April 6th at 1PM to work on the bid specifications for the installation of a security fence.
Chairman Thayer opened the site walk at 1pm. In attendance were Chairman Raymond D. Thayer and Selectman Charles R. Melvin, Sr. Thayer and Melvin waited for Selectman Robert S. Donovan, Jr. until 1:17pm. Minutes were written by Chairman Thayer and Selectman Melvin.
Selectman Robert S. Donovan, Jr. was not in attendance.
Chairman Thayer opened the site walk at 1:17pm. Selectman Melvin had a 30ft tape. Chairman Thayer and Selectman Melvin measured the frontages and they talked about where they would like to see the gate and driveway for the Highway Department. The trees and brush would need to be removed first but no white birch is to be removed unless it is dead or dying. Grade the front of the road where needed and talked about adding some plantings as well.
The site walk adjourned at 2:07pm.
