SELECTMEN’S MEETING AGENDA
June 20, 2005
The Newton Board of Selectmen will be holding a public meeting on Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Newton Town Hall. The Board will open the public meeting at 6:30 PM and then promptly go into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (e) – Pending litigation and (c) – Personnel Issue.
A PUBLIC HEARING per RSA 31:95-b will be held starting at 7pm to accept and expend the following amounts from the following sources; Accept and expend $1,000 donation to the Police/Fire Departments from Merrimac Savings Bank; Accept $5,994.78 from the Devito forfeiture and expend $7,500 to purchase a 1985 aluminum step van for a mobile “Incident Command Post”; Accept and expend $3,150 grant money from NH Fish & Game (OHRV Patrols); Accept and expend $1,718.40 grant money from the Governor’s Highway Safety Agency (DWI Enforcement); Accept and expend $1,718.40 grant money from the Governor’s Highway Safety Agency (Speed Enforcement)
The Public Meeting will resume after the Public Hearing.
