Meeting Minutes of June 29, 2006
In attendance: Bob Bartlett, Chief Bill Ingalls, Chief Larry Streeter, Horace Williams, Steve Palmer and Eileen Patterson.

Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM
Minutes of April 26, 2006 were accepted.
New business/discussion: Architect John Otte presented updated conceptual drawings and new estimated pricing for the complex. Discussion followed regarding the changes to the building made by the Chiefs and John Owens, Emergency Management Director. Many changes had been made to the drawings, a few minor ones still needed to be made, both the Chiefs felt that the updated plans meet the immediate and future needs for the departments. Pricing and cost were also discussed. As the process draws closer to having the final plan for the building, a more concrete estimate will be done to establish a more definitive cost. The architect was again reminded of the dollar value that the committee feels is a manageable number, and was directed to come to that number. Once that number comes back,
the process will move on to having final conceptual drawings, construction drawings, and obtaining a Construction Manager.
Bob Bartlett will have discussion with Chet Bearce as to whether there has been any geological /engineering study done on the land that is being considered for the complex. He will follow up at the next meeting.
Discussed and voted to pay the architects bill in the amount of $7571.56, once the architect comes back with a new figure and drawings.
