NEWTON SAFETY COMPLEX COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES OF JUNE 9, 2005
In attendance: Bob Bartlett, Chief Bill Ingalls, Chief Larry Streeter, John Ulcickas, Eileen Patterson, Bob Donovan, Lynn Harding and Norm Harding.
Meeting called to order at 6:15 PM.
Accepted the minutes of the May 19, 2005 meeting.
New Business - Discussion regarding the proposal contract from Samyn – D’Elia Architects. A motion was made and passed, to go through the proposal item by item, to formulate questions to present to the architect for clarification before signing the contract. Each topic set forth in the contract was discussed, amendments made and questions established. These will be sent on to the architect.
Survey Discussion – Questions that we feel should be included in the town survey should be ready to present to Andrew Smith, on June 16, 2005. Mr. Smith will be presenting his proposal at a meeting on that date.
Letters of thanks will be sent by Lynn Harding, to the other architects that came and presented.
Next meeting will be June 16, 2005, at the Fire Station at 6 PM. The following meeting will be on June 23, 2005, at the Fire Station at 6 PM.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 PM.
