· Greenie Park Update
o Mr./Mrs. Surette attended, discussed recent vandalism at park.
o Rick to send letter to Mr./Mrs. Surette stating they may clear shrubs/brush as necessary.
o Rick will contact Boy Scouts re: additional cleanup on trails.
· Tennis Program
o Tennis instructor, Roxanne Grover, attended, handed in registrations.
o Tennis lessons end 8/25.
o Secretary will hand in tennis registrations to town hall ($480.00)
o Deb motion to reimburse Rick for expenses ($100.56) and mileage for Cardio Tennis course, Theresa second, in favor – unanimous.
· Fall Fair Update
o Fair will be held Saturday, September 9; 10 am – 4 pm at Greenie Park
o Rainforest Reptiles 1 pm – 3 pm
o DJ – Carl Malm
o Defense with Dignity (demonstration)
o Historical Soc. – Cider Pressing
o Fast Pitch competition
o Boy Scouts will cook
o Girl Scouts will do face painting
o Moon Jumper
o Pony Rides
o Police Dunk Tank
o Fire Department – jaws of life demonstration
o Info table on EEE/West Nile (Bob to call Rick L. to see if he wants to participate).
o Rode race (Rick to contact town hall re: letter head for sponsors).
· Town Beach
o Beach was closed as of Friday, August 18 after testing.
o Swim director, Jon Holden, gave closing report, suggests purchasing new equipment for swim program.
o Discussed possibility of sponsoring life guard training for approx. 2 individuals willing to be life guards at town beach.
· Other Business
o Deb motion to change meeting time to 7:30 pm, in favor – unanimous.
o Web site will have to be updated.
o Motion to adjourn 9:30 pm.
