Notice is hereby given that the Newton Recreation Commission will conduct a meeting on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Newton Town Hall. The following items will be discussed:

  • Greenie Park
  • set up meeting with Dave Marden
  • purchase equipment
  • Senior Programs
  • Fall Foliage Trip
  • Fall Fair – finalize cost Purchase food and supplies and get someone to do the cooking/serving.
  • Contact a DJ
  • Get the Bounce House
  • Contact a reptile or wildlife place
  • Contact Mad Science and/or other entertainment
  • Contact Trisha re: Remax Balloon
  • Get Pony Rides
  • Get donations/raffle prizes
  • Get decorations
  • Update the signs and place around town
  • Bills
  • Other Business
  • Water Country Tickets (5 left).
  • Monarchs – how many tickets.
  • Plan NH
