SECRETARY’S REPORT: Read and accepted.
LIBRARY DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Read and Accepted.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Read and accepted.
COMMUNICATION’S and CORRESPONDENCE:
A letter of thanks was received from Lisa Fortin regarding her attendance at the Archival Training course. Three thank you letters were sent. The Lacroix family’s donation of $100 was greatly appreciated. Mr. James Huddleston was thanked for his ‘bear chair’. It will be raffled off with the proceeds going to the library. And Irene Nally and Irene Giannatsis were thanked for their donation of 19 hosta plants, as well as their hard work in planting them all.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
The policy revision will be continued next month at the July 11th meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
A technician worked on two of the library’s computers. He fixed the immediate problems and recommended the 98 operating system be updated to the 2000 system. His repair work cost $300.
A library patron attended our meeting to appeal the revocation of her library card. After extensive discussion the board decided to stay with its original decision.
