Conservation Commission Draft Minutes for March 15, 2007


Attending were: Trisha McCarthy, Peter Mears, Pat Wonson, Nancy Slombo, Alicia Raddatz

Trisha McCarthy called the meeting to order at 8:35

Minutes Review from March 1, 2007
        Peter made a motion to except the minutes as presented. Alicia Seconded.
        All in favor
Guests: Sandy Estabrook, Tim Brennan, and Mary Marshall

Correspondence:     -NH Local Government Center, 2007 Local Official Workshops
Finding the Law; State-Municipal Relationships; Role of Selectman; The Selectmen and Other Local Officials; The Right to Know Law; The Budget Law; Conflicts of Interest; Liability; Public Employment; Welfare for Non-Welfare  Officials; Streets and Highway.
-       Comprehensive Environmental Inc. is pleased to announce that John C. Vancor, P.E. has joined the CEI Senior Staff.
-       Best of Ben Meadows Spring Edition 2007. Alicia will determine the supplies needed for Busch Farm Day.
-       State of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.
Re: Changes to the NH Natural Heritage Bureau Environmental Review Process.

Busch Farms:            -Trisha will call Mrs. Murphy to see if they have received checks.
                        -Peter will walk through the farm, checking on beaver activity.
-       We have still not received feedback from the Grant
application submitted.

Trails:                 Nancy walked through the Peanut Trail and report that it looks
                        good.

Land Acquisition:       Wilders Grove paperwork is signed. Elite Title has received all paperwork.

Wetland Cases:  A complaint will be issued to 17 North Main Street.
 
Old Business:           Nothing to report at this time.

New Business:   -Alicia made a motion for Trisha to send a letter to the Planning Board in regards to the Dredge and Fill Application received for Pine Hill Road. Peter Seconded. All in Favor.
        -Trisha made a motion to will write a letter expressing Sandy Estabrook’s interest I joining the Conservation Committee.
        Pat Seconded. All in Favor.

Other Business: -Tim Brennan will research information regarding Conservation
                        Camp.
                        - Peter made a motion to present Mr. Brogner an offer for ten acres
                                of backland, includes land off Whittier Street.
                                Pat Seconded. All in Favor.
