1.  Proclamation- April is Water Conservation Month in Florida
Mayor Surrency read the Proclamation stating April is Water Conservation Month in Florida.

E. ~CITIZEN COMMENTS
Ms. Karen Chadwick spoke on the water aquifer
Mrs. Sharon Surrency spoke on April being Child Abuse Prevention Month and ask permission to put pin wheels in front of city hall to represent the number of children abused in area.

G.  PUBLIC HEARING
SECOND READING
A.  PUD 17-1 EA-Hawthorne Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning Application
Mr. Chris Dougherty, City Consultant from SM&E Company gave a background report on the EA-Hawthorne timeline and how we got to this step in the process.

Mr. Tim Jackson of Weyerhaeuser spoke on a few issues to clarify a few concerns with the PUD conditions.

I.  CITIZEN COMMENTS
Mr. Donnell Walker- Asked if the city had any plans to repair the pavilions in the city park because they leak very badly.
Mayor Surrency replied there was plans to repair the leaks and invited Mr. Walker and everyone out to the park for a cleanup day this Saturday.

J. ~REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/INFORMATION
1. City Manager Vause gave her City Managers report.
2. City Attorney Hoehn- No report
3. City Commission
Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham- Hawthorne Life Enrichment luncheon tomorrow from 11:00-1:00PM
Commissioner Floyd- Prostitution is picking up on SE 65th Avenue and the surrounding area and asked the ACSO to patrol more in that area.
Commissioner Bouie- No report
Vice Mayor Howard- No report

4. Mayor Surrency- Hope for Hawthorne Easter Egg Hunt April 15, Farm Share giving out free food April 22 and a free Health Fair at Mt. Zion Church here in Hawthorne.
