Moved to approve the Ordinance A 15-1 on the Envision Alachua Annexation on second reading

A. Ordinance- EA-Hawthorne Comprehensive Plan Amendments
Mr. Tim Jackson of Plum Creek gave a presentation on the background of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment.
Mr. Chris Dougherty of Littlejohn discussed the highlights of the application for the Comprehensive Plan Amendment.

A. Commissioner Roberts- Thanks to everyone for the positive and negative comments. Born and raised in Hawthorne and it’s time for a change.
B. Commissioner Floyd- Thanks to everyone for attending. Thanks to Plum Creek for their presentation.
C. Commissioner Bouie- Thanks to everyone that was in attendance and she appreciates all the input and support the changes.
D. Vice Mayor Howard- Thanks to everyone for their input. Believe in the upcoming years everyone will be appreciating what Plum Creek is doing.
4. Mayor Surrency- Thank you to everyone that attended and want everyone to know the process does not stop here whether it is approved or disapproved.
