Mr. Keith Harmon, Library Branch Manager- Gave an update on what’s going on at the Hawthorne Library.

Mr. Damon Messino & Mr. Hal Brady of City of Alachua- Recognized Mayor Matthew Surrency for his continued support to the Babe Ruth program and presented him with a plaque.

  • Park & Recreation Advisory Board Discussion
City Manager Vause gave the City Commission requested information regarding the Park & Recreation Advisory Board.  No action was taken.

  • Minimum Wage
Commission Carlton- Requested information from the City Manager on minimum wage and staff pay rates.  Thinks city staff is paid enough.

6.  Street lighting @ Ivey resident
Mr. Clarence Ivey requested a street put placed in front of his home because it is very dark.  The City Commission requested to table this item until they can view the property in question and have staff bring it back at the next meeting.

1. City Manager Vause gave her weekly update.

3. City Commission
Commissioner Carlton- None
Commissioner Bouie- None but asked for an update on the flooring and fire station.
Vice Mayor Howard- None but asked for an update on the lighting at the fish dock.
4. Mayor Surrency gave an update on his week and upcoming meetings he will be attending.
