Mayor Surrency read the proclamation supporting the Hazardous Materials Awareness Week February 16-22, 2014.

Mr. Scott gave a presentation to the City Commission.

City Manager Vause- Staff wants to apply for a $100K pre development revolving loan from the FRWA.

3. Code Board Alternate
City Manager Vause- Staff is asking the City Commission to appoint Mr. Larry Tilbury as a regular CEB member and Mr. Brenda Cooper as alternate CEB.
City Attorney Hoehn- Florida Commission of Ethics opinion is that it would be a conflict of interest if Ms. Cooper is the alternate for CEB.
Moved to appoint Mr. Tilbury as the regular member and Ms. Vivian Wagner as the alternate of the CEB.

Commissioner Roberts- Hawthorne Life Enrichment Valentine’s Day Ball is February 14, 2014 @ 11:00AM at City Hall.
Mayor Surrency- Still working on the FDOT debt and trying to get forgiveness for the City of the debt.
