D. ~COMMITTEE REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS
1.  Presentation- FDOT Representative Ms. Rebecca White
Ms. White stated resurfacing 301will begin 1st week in December if it warms up.

E. ~CITIZEN COMMENTS – Mr. Keith Harmon, Hawthorne Branch Library Manager- Will begin a monthly program for homeschoolers and asking people to spread the word.

1.  Special Commission Minutes November 10, 2014

2.  Citizen Advisory Task Force
City Manager Vause- New requirements from DEO require that 51% of the CATF members be low or moderate income.  Staff is seeking direction for possible CAFT members.
Commissioner Carlton asked for a list of the current CATF members.  

3.  End of Lease, Konica Minolta Copier
City Manager Vause- The 5 year lease ($258.81 per month) on the Konica Minolta Copier through the University of Florida will be finished on 1/14/15.  The new lease program through the State of Florida would be a 48 month lease at $123.09.
Moved to approve the new copier and lease for the State of Florida for 48 months.

4.  Event Regulations
City Manager Vause- Event rules and regulations are needed to protect the city along with having a successful event.  Both the Hawthorne Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hawthorne Homecoming Committee have review and commented on the regulations.

6.  Healthiest Weight Florida initiative
City Manager Vause- The State is asking the city to adopt the Resolution to show that Hawthorne has certain attributes to be listed as a healthy city in the State of Florida.
