1. Elder Care Services of Alachua County
Mr. Anthony Carisko, Executive Director of Eldercare of Alachua County- Eldercare was not able to get transportation expense in the county budget but is visiting the municipalities to ask if elder transportation can be included in each municipality budget. If the referendum pass they are asking for some of the funds be used for seniors in Hawthorne to get the needed transportation.
The City Commission agreed to keep the communication open concerning this issue but right now the City of Hawthorne focus is on getting our roads fixed which will take all the referendum money we get, and also we are trying to get our own senior building.
2. Sexton & Schnoll, Marc Schnoll - FY2012-2013 Audit presentation
