1. Citizen of the Month- NOMADS
Mr. Carl Gosnel, Coordinator of the NOMADS explained what the NOMADS and introduced the NOMADS that are helping inside the City of Hawthorne. The City Commission and Staff thanked the NOMADS for the wonderful work they are doing inside the City.

The City Commission agreed to table the item until all City Commissioners are present.
5. April 1, 2014 City Commission Meeting
Moved to approve the City Manager recommendation to cancel the April 1, 2014 meeting due to Legislation Days on April 1 and April 2 in Tallahassee.

1. CRA Meeting Date
City Commission agreed the next CRA Meeting will be on March 18, 2014 at 5:30PM

J. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/INFORMATION
City Manager Vause gave an update Altitude Communication, Fire Station, Special dates coming up, the Park and Recreation Advisory Board, LOCNP, William Bartram Heritage Day, Park and Recreation Director, FRDAP Grant, American Legion, Joint Meeting with ACBOCC and Staff.
City Attorney Hoehn- None
Commissioner Roberts- Summarized things done by the NCFRPC. LOCNP had a great turn out. Attended a program for former City Commissioner Eddie Martin. Ms. Jennifer Tozzo giving a presentation to the seniors tomorrow about hearing loss at City Hall at 11:00AM.
Commissioner Bouie- Enjoyed the event at LOCNP. Took her grand boys and they really enjoyed themselves.
Vice Mayor Howard- Also enjoyed the event at LOCNP.
Mayor Surrency- Thanks to all the volunteers that made the event at LOCNP a success. This Thursday is a hearing with FLC to stop the payments on the line locates on HWY 20. March 25 in Waldo the League of Cities will meet at 7:00PM. Headed to National League of Cities in Washington DC.
