Call to Order
Mr. Surface called the meeting to order at 6:05PM.
Board Business
Special Town Meeting Warrant
The Board reviewed the Warrant Articles and the Motions. The motion for Article #1 was changed as well as the spreadsheet to reflect the contract settlement with the Patrolman’s Union.
Housing Authority Member Resignation
Mr. Surface believes a resignation of a Housing Authority member is imminent and suggested that this Board should appoint one of its own members until the annual elections. A question about the appointing process was raised and the Town Administrator was directed to speak to Legal Counsel about how the Board should proceed.
Police Chief’s Evaluation
Mr. Surface reminded the members to review the Chief’s contract a prepare submittals for the evaluation process.
Fire Chief’s Hours
Mr. Surface asked the Town Administrator if the Personnel Committee has been advised that the Board is looking for input from the Committee regarding feasibility of extending the Chief’s work week from the current 30 hours to 40 hours. Farrell indicated that the Committee has not met recently but will asked them to place it on their agenda.
Mr. Smith moved to adjourn. Mr. Fowler seconded the motion and the motion was approved by a unanimous vote.
