Selectmen Present:      Philip Trapani, Chairman; C. David Surface, Clerk; Gary Fowler; Stephen Smith

Others Present: Michael Farrell, Town Administrator; Janet Pantano, Administrative Assistant

Absent:                 Evan O’Reilly

Call to Order
Mr. Trapani called the meeting to order at 6:10PM.  

ATM Warrant-Motion discussion
Board discussed who would read motions for Selectmen articles.

Article 19-ATM11-16 Local Option Meals Excise
Mr. Smith stated that he does not now support this article and will work with the CoA on a 5-year budget.  Mr. Surface stated that he would support this if it is not tied to a specific department.  Mr. Fowler and Mr. Farrell stated that the FinCom did not support this article.  Mr. Surface stated that he will discuss the reasoning with the FinCom.

Article 20-ATM11-45 Acceptance of G.L. c.138, §33B
Mr. Smith stated that he would present this article and explain that this just brings the Town into compliance with our Sunday Alcohol licenses.

Article 21-ATM11-21 Energy Services performance Financing
Mr. Trapani stated that he would read the motion for the energy article.

Article 21-ATM11-20 Police Department (4x4) Replacement
Mr. Farrell stated that this article will be passed over.

Article 25-ATM11-42 Purchase of Permit Tracking Software
Mr. Surface stated that he will read the motion for the permit tracking software.

Article 28-ATM11-31 Official Town May
Mr. Farrell stated that this article will be passed over.

Article 29-35-ATM11-32, 33, 34, 35 Street Acceptances
Mr. Fowler stated that he will read the motions for the Street Acceptances.

Selectmen moved to the FinCom meeting across the hall.

Discussion with the FinCom on Article 4 School/Town Maintenance Dept Override ATM 11-15.

FinCom vote to recommend the article be passed over.  Selectmen take a vote.

Mr. Fowler moved that the Selectmen pass over Article 4 School/Town Maintenance Dept Override ATM 11-15.  Mr. Surface seconded the motion and the motion was approved by a unanimous vote.

Selectmen adjourn to Town Meeting.
